For history and nature fans
Mark Dawidziak is the TV critic for the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He grew up on Long Island, not far from Sagamore Hill, Theodore Roosevelt’s Oyster Bay home. A family trip to the house, administered by the National Park Service, sparked a lifelong interest in our 26th president. Dawidziak is the author of many books, including Mark My Words: Mark Twain on Writing (St. Martin’s Press), Horton Foote’s the Shape of the River (Applause), Mark Twain’s Guide to Diet, Exercise, Beauty, Fashion, Investment, Romance, Health and Happiness (Prospect Park Books), and Mark Twain for Cat Lovers (Lyons). He lives in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
