Stephanie Murphy is an author, freelance writer and photographer. As a journalist, she wrote about her experiences exploring numerous American destinations––as well as travels to Cuba, Portugal, Australia, Finland, Sweden, Canada and Italy.
Stephanie gained wide-ranging insight about the way other people view their own journeys through interviews with tycoons and celebrities, scholars and scientists, musicians and artists, entertainers and athletes, analysts and policy-makers. So who were the most entertaining to quiz or listen to? Donald Trump, Sophia Loren, Tony Bennett, Frankie Valli, Gen. Alexander Haig, Regis Philbin, Michael Milken, Gary Player, Zbigniew Brzezinski, Dr. Murray Gell-Mann, and Arthur Laffer.
A native of Florida, Stephanie graduated from the University of Florida College of Journalism. She also studied at the University of Colorado on a Gannett Foundation grant.
For three years, Stephanie co-authored the original edition of the Insiders’ Guide to Boca Raton & the Palm Beaches. She was a writer and columnist for the Palm Beach Daily News for eight years. Her feature articles and photographs have appeared in Palm Beach Illustrated, The Miami Herald, Sun-Sentinel, Culture, Quality Cities, Boca Raton News, and other publications.
She and her husband, Gerard Lupo, divide their time between Montville, New Jersey and West Palm Beach, Florida.
